Join Hilary for an 8-week transformative journey into the wisdom of the chakra system—blending yoga, yoga philosophy, somatic psychology, and creative expression. This immersive course takes a trauma-conscious depth psychological approach, helping you cultivate curiosity and self-awareness through a holistic exploration of each chakra.

Each week, we’ll focus on one chakra, integrating mindful movement, breathwork, and yoga postures to activate and balance energy. You'll explore the philosophical teachings that correspond to each energy center, using these ancient principles as tools for personal growth and healing.

In addition to the physical practice, we’ll dive into somatic psychology to increase embodied awareness while exploring healing through the body. Together, we will get curious as to how each chakra might influence our mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and how movement and creativity can support healing and self-empowerment.

Through music, guided movement, and expressive practices, you’ll be encouraged to tap into your body, mind, spirit, and psyche. This course offers you a safe, supportive space to integrate mind-body wisdom, and cultivate a deeper connection to yourself.

What you can expect:

  • Weekly chakra-focused yoga practices designed to balance the energy system plus handouts that correspond to each chakra

  • Trauma-conscious somatic psychology tools for embodied healing and awareness

  • Exploration of each chakra’s psychological and spiritual significance

  • Creative exercises such as journaling, art, and movement to deepen insight

  • Music and guided visualization to facilitate integration

By the end of this course, you’ll leave with a greater understanding of your body’s wisdom, a toolkit for embodied healing, and a renewed sense of vitality and self-awareness.

We will be using the book “Eastern Body, Western Mind” by Anodea Judith for this course.
