ma, ERYT500

Hilary is the owner/founder of Indwelling and is also the Founding Mother of House of the Gathering Yoga School’s 250 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program at Svalja Yoga. She is an experienced yoga teacher that taught yoga for over 15 years. In 2020 Hilary stepped away as the owner of HGYS and as a lead teacher in the Svalja YTT program to focus on Indwelling. Through Indwelling Hilary offers personalized guidance as well as workshops and retreats. Indwelling centers around inner work which is a pathway of holistic trauma conscious care. Hilary specializes in narcissistic and covert abuse recovery, depth psychology, and trauma healing. She has a master's in advocacy and political leadership from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and a second master's degree in depth psychology with specialization in Jungian and archetypal studies. In 2023, she paused her dissertation and PhD in depth psychology to pursue a third master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at Walden University. Hilary was the board secretary of Spirit of the Lake Community School from 2019-2021, is a member of the Minnesota Jung Association and a member of the Fascia Research Society. In the Svalja/HGYS YTT program, Hilary continues to teach classes on depth psychology, trauma, foraging, and more.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING ABOUT HILARY

Hilary is a spiritual badass in my book. A fierce energy in the best possible way. She meets you right where you are in life with no judgement and generates change that leaves you feeling...inspired and above all: hopeful. Her ability to ask thought-provoking questions that take you beyond a surface level and into a bodily way of knowing...is incredible. Processing our thoughts, emotions, bodily experiences, and past traumas (personal or ancestral) is scary. I think there can be nothing more valuable than having a guide who not only understands this and assists others in their darkest moments but lives out her practice as well. She is changing lives; I can promise you that. Are you ready for her to change yours?
